Current Season
Spring 2026
The programme for our Spring concert is shaping up:
The major work, for the second half, will be Brahms' Liebeslieder - "songs of love" - sung in English.
In the first half, we will sing a selection of shorter items from the same era (second half of the nineteenth century) by Sullivan, Stanford and others.
Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 7.30 pm, in the URC Church Hall in Church Stretton, with the concert on Saturday 9 May.
Do come and join us - all welcome whether you are a previous choir member or not.
Our most recent concert, Christmas 2025
Our Christmas concert was on Saturday 13 December, featuring excerpts from Bach's Christmas Oratorio, choir and audience carols, instrumental interludes, and Howard Goodall's Psalm 23 (otherwise known as the theme for The Vicar of Dibley) with the solo sung by Issy Clews from Church Stretton School.
