A Handel Celebration

Rehearsals for the 2010 spring season commenced on Thursday 15th January 2010 (a week later than usual because of the extreme weather conditions prevailing) at the United Reformed Church in Church Stretton. We shall be performing a Handel Celebration including extracts from Messiah, extracts from the Chandos Anthem No 9 and the coronation anthem Zadok the Priest. Soloists will be Cathy Benson (soprano) and Paul Mocroft (bass) together with Ensemble Musicale (leader David Joyce) and Richard Silk (organ). The concert will be performed at Church Stretton School on Saturday 8th May 2010.
